Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde protrays the culture of the Victorian Era.

Culture variations around the world bring uniqueness and acknowledgment to for each one individual. The gruesome crimes committed by Mr Hyde reflect the views of his animalistic and lower class way of behavior. The opening of the story starts of with the unveiling to Mr. Hyde by narrating about the first crime that he commits. During this crime, Hyde comes upon a little girl on the way and the man stepd calmly over the childs body and left her riot on (pg 2). A direct curse comes to Hydes name direct as it is morally wrong to trample over anyone, lots less a child. The nonorious story that also comes to his name also shows the Victorian morality does not tolerate crimes, and that contributing to the ungentlemanly-like behavior, the awkward appearance is enough to deal him an outcast. The next murder that Hyde commits was upon a well known well(p) gentleman, and the way that he murdered Sir Danvers Carew was short shocking for the man broke out of all spring and clubbed him to the earth.
